Immersing yourself in local culture is all part of the fun, and this full day tour features just that. You'll watch typical dances from Boa Vista in Cabeça dos Tarafes, learn about Morro Negro lighthouse and see how ‘Katchupa' is made at a family home. And along the way, you'll get to visit a local farm and stop to swim. This is one of our TUI Collection excursions, which give you a local flavour of the destination while showcasing its unique, authentic and responsible values.
You'll journey to the villages in the north of the island to begin your enriching Boa Vista experience. Start off at Cabeça dos Tarafes to watch traditional dances and music, then it's over to the lighthouse at Morro Negro to hear stories of its past and to take in the views.
Next stop will be the golden arch of beach at Porto Ferreira, where you can dive in for a swim. At Fundo Figueiras, you'll visit a family home to see how real ‘Katchupa' – the Cape Verde national dish - is made. Then, after a stop by a local farm, we'll round things off with lunch.
