You'll meet your private guide at 9.00am at your hotel in Bruges or at the Tourist Office and leave for a 3-hour stroll in the historic center. You'll visit the Choco Story Museum that covers the whole chocolate history starting with the cacao beans of the Maya and the Aztecs to the high-tech production process nowadays. The museum is an initiative of the Van Belle family of the namesake brand of Belgian chocolate with stores all over the world. Of course you can taste and sample the homemade chocolates...While hopping from place to place you’ll see the most important historical buildings and squares of the city, such as the Market Square, the Burg, the Fish Market, the Dijver and the Minnewater.
Around 12.00pm, You'll unch at the brewery De Halve Maan (3-course menu, drinks not included). After that, you'll visit the brewery with a local guide and discover where ‘De Brugse Zot’ beer is being brewed. The brewery De Halve Maan in the last family owned brewery of the historical center of Bruges. This brewery is deeply entrenched in Bruges’ history. Since up to the present day, six generations of the Maes family have succeeded each other. You'll learn everything about hops and malt and end the visit with a fresh Brugse Zot beer.
