Visit Coba and discover a majestic city surrounded by exuberant vegetation and recognized for having the tallest building in the archaeological zones north of the Yucatan Peninsula, Nohoch Mul. It is a 7-level structure as tall as 42 meters (138 feet) which has 120 steps from bottom to top.
This archaeological site is located in a beautiful area surrounded by five lagoons and numerous cenotes noted for having the widest network of roads called "sacbé" meaning “white road” in Mayan. This gave the Mayans great power and control back in the day as they facilitated trade. During your tour, you will also explore the Church Temple, the Oval Temple, two different ball games. Get an up-close look at the famous stone carvings, where the Mayans etched out important events, as well as astronomical findings.
