Cape Town Garden Route 4-day tour

This morning you will be met by your local guide and depart for the scenic Garden Route. You will travel along Sir Louwry's pass, with its magnificent views, to Grabouw and Elgin. Your journey continues to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. After this thrilling experience, you will continue via Swellendam, the third oldest town in South Africa and overnight in Mossel Bay. After breakfast, your journey takes you to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world and home to the limestone caverns of the Cango Caves. You will visit an Ostrich farm for a guided tour and enjoy a wine tasting at a local wine estate before heading off on a tour at the Cango Caves, also known as one of the world's great natural wonders. The following day, you will depart Oudtshoorn, travelling over to the Outeniqua Pass to George. This town is the sixth oldest town in South Africa, with many historical landmarks like the Slave Tree and the Kind Edward VII Library building. You will travel via the Wilderness, an attractive holiday resort to Knysna, where you will have the opportunity to take a lagoon cruise to the Featherbed Nature Reserve (depending on weather), where you can ride to the top of the Western Head to enjoy panoramic views of the town and lagoon, returning for lunch. The afternoon is at leisure to further explore this charming town. And after an overnight in Knysna, you will have breakfast the following morning and you will be driven to Port Elizabeth and head eastwards along the Tsitsikamma Forest to Port Elizabeth, known as the "friendly city" with a wonderful climate. The tour ends in Port Elizabeth (or at Port Elizabeth Airport on request).
