This is your chance to discover the unique area of Cappadocia and explore its most famous sites. You'll kick your day off in the town of Avanos which is known for its production of earthenware pottery. Here, there's a number of pottery factories and you can check out a pottery demonstration with the Hittite technique! Then, you'll head to Çavusin, one of the oldest settlements in Cappadocia, where people still live in rock-cut dwellings and stone houses. You'll visit the Church of St. John the Baptist and admire its beautiful paintings and spectacular panoramic views of the village.
The next stop on your tour will be Devrent Valley which is also known as Imagination Valley thanks to its lunar landscape with unique rock formations that look like animals and people.This will definitely be a different kind of walk but as you stroll through the fairy chimneys, you're sure to be amazed. You'll then visit Goreme Open Air Museum and see why its a UNESCO protected site with its rock-cut churches and monasteries before moving on to Pasabag Valley.
Pasabag Village has the best collection of fairy chimneys in Cappadocia and is full of fascinating sites that are just waiting to be discovered. After you've admired this village, you'll go to Uchisar Rock Castle which is the highest point in the region. From here, you can take in the stunning views of the area and soak up the beauty before making your way to Ürgup which is famous for its wine productions so get ready to sample some incredible local wines before the end of your tour.
