You'll begin your tour with a walk through the beautiful highlands, enjoying breathtaking views along the way. Then, you'll arrive in Ingapirca, the main Inca archeological site in Ecuador. The sun worshipers built this fortress-temple in the Cañar Valley, approximately 96km northeast of Cuenca at 3,200m above sea level.
Next, you'll head to Gualaceo and Chordeleg, two charming villages famous for crafts. You'll visit a workshop where artisans produce the best silver filigree in Ecuador. There will be time to go shopping or just admire the enchanting atmosphere of the city. The last stop will be the workshop of a local family where you'll see the process of weaving shawls and ponchos on old looms, using dyes extracted from plants.
