On day one, you'll depart from Underberg in a 4X4 vehicle and travel via the Sani Pass with a stop for an early tea at Sani Mountain Lodge. After your refreshment breaks, it's time to travel up Black Mountain Pass for a short walk to a vantage point from where you'll view the valiant Thaban Ntlenyana - the highest peak in Southern Africa at 3482 meters above sea level.
Your journey continues to Mokhotlong, where you have a chance to enjoy a tour of the town and stop for a short walk down the main road to view the rare Spiral Aloe and shop at the street vendors before travelling onto Oxbow Lodge to enjoy your dinner and relaxing overnight.
On day two, after your tasty breakfast, you'll leave Oxbow Lodge behind and head back through Mokhotlong onto St James Mission to watch the captivating ceiling of their church.
Driving back through the stunningly beautiful Sehonghong Valley and looking for the rare Bearded Vulture on the route will leave memories on you that you never forget. Stopping for lunch at Mountain Lodge will give you some time to reflect and share experiences with your fellow travellers ahead of the last bit of travelling down the Sani Pass back to Underberg.
