On this three day adventure you will jump from loch to mountain to sea, in a nature- and history-filled tour, jam packed with activity. Beginning your journey, you'll head through the beautiful Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park before stopping in a quaint village for a cup of tea and to stretch your legs. Here you'll enjoy fantastic views of the UK's largest expanse of fresh water - Loch Lomond. You'll hear all about the bloody massacre of the McDonald Clan as you venture across Glen Coe, and enjoy rugged nature and waterfalls before a breathtaking view of Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain on the British Isles. If you're a Highlander fan, the next stop on day one will be right up your street as you visit Eilean Donan Castle.
The second day of your tour sees you exploring the Isle of Skye at your leisure. Your guide will take you to the beautiful Cuillin Mountains, the Trotternish Peninsula, Kilt Rock and much more. This will be a fun-packed day, with a delicious fish and chip lunch in quaint harborside-town Portree.
Day three sees you venturing to Loch Ness, the most renowned Loch in the world - and for good reason. Not only is it beautiful, but it's also said to be inhabited by a snake-like monster named Nessie, so keep your eyes peeled for her as you cruise on the loch. Next you will head to Culloden Battlefield which was the last battlesite between the Jacobites and the British in 1746. At the visitor centre you can learn all about the history of the era and the location, so be sure not to miss this. Before returning to Edinburgh, you will venture south to a beautiful Perthshire town, taking in gorgeous scenery as you go. This trip is definitely one not to miss.
