What to expect

Hop aboard your tour and get ready to explore Edinburgh. You'll go along Princes Street, past Scott's Monument and under Edinburgh Castle where your guide will tell you all about the famous building and the gorgeous gardens that sit below it. Head to the Grassmarket, which boasts an array of small boutique shops, traditional pubs and restaurants, and recall irs past as a lively market and a notorious place of execution. Then, it's time to learn about Greyfriars Bobby, Edinburgh's most famous dog, and look around the central university area. You might even spot some magical places that inspired the Harry Potter books! Take in the Royal Mile and check out the fantastic architecture of some buildings and hear all about the Scottish pioneers, poets, and writers who once lived in them.

It's time to head off the beaten track across the Dean Bridge and into the quaint Dean Village which is full of cobbled streets, beautiful views and fascinating history. Making your way back to the city centre, you'll take in all of the fascinating sights and sounds that Edinburgh has to offer before travelling to the food of Arthur's Seat to discover Holyrood Park and Palace.
