What to expect

The Uffizi Gallery hosts the biggest collection of Renaissance paintings in the world.

Starting from Giotto you will go through all the masterpieces of the most important artists of what is called the Renaissance, or 'Rebirth'. With this tour, you will learn the keys to reading Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Spring and you will discover what made Leonardo’s paintings some of the most enigmatic works of art in the world!

Our local guide will tell you the anecdotes of this massive collection of paintings done for the Medici family and you will see the portraits of many members of the family that changed the history of Florence. In addition to this, you will learn more about the Vasarian Corridor and you will have the possibility to stop for a coffee or a cappuccino on the roof terrace overlooking the Signoria square, from which you will have great views of Brunelleschi’s dome.

Booking this tour you will receive also the Firenzecard - valid 72 hours – which includes the entrance to up to 72 museums in Florence (such as: the Medici Chapels, Accademia Gallery, Gallery of Modern Art, Sinagoga, Giotto's Bell Tower, Basilica of Santa Croce, Basilica of San Lorenzo, Forte Belvedere and many more).
