Come and discover the wildlife of Sri Lanka in Udawalawe National Park. Home to some 500 elephants, this is considered the best park to spot them in the country. Visit the park's rescue center and see these gentle giants up close, then explore the park on a private 4x4 safari.
Your day kicks off at the Elephant Transit Home, where orphaned baby elephants are cared for after rescue from the wild. From there, you'll start exploring the park in a jeep and reach a huge reservoir, a perfect place for spotting elephants and other wildlife due to the lack of vegetation.
During the safari, you can expect to see buffalo, monkeys, deer and crocodiles. And, if you're lucky, there's also the elusive Sri Lankan leopard to be spotted. To top it off, lunch is included.
