Join this interesting papermaking and printing workshop and learn all about the history of paper in Fabriano, a little town in the Marche inland famous for its papermaking tradition.
Together with Sandro, a master papermaker, you will choose the forms and canvases in order to shape the paper, learn the manufacturing processes, and then approach creative techniques.
The first part of the workshop will let you discover some imaging and inking procedures and the use of raw materials including cellulose, flocculants and colors.
You will then create paper sheets using traditional and creative techniques that will unleash the huge artistic potential of chalcographic printing. Take home your souvenirs at the end of the workshop!
