Kick-off your tour with a pick-up from your hotel to drive to Taif, starting with Shubra Palace, where King Abdul Aziz used to stay and was later the residence of King Faisa. It's the most stunning vestige of old Taif, with latticework windows and balconies and interior marble from Carrara. It is located on the northern side of Taif city center and overlooks Shubra Street which is one of the most important pivotal streets in the city of Taif.
Next, you will go to Al Rudaf Park, a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature with music fountains, grasses, small rock mountains, and many playgrounds for children. Next, you will explore the old souq in Taif city called Souq Okaz, which is the former largest and best known open-air market in the Islamic world and where tourists often visit nowadays. To continue shopping, you will go to the oldest and best shopping mall in Taif, Taif’s Heart Mall.
Then you will drive up to Al Hada mountain, the most beautiful and important mountain roads in the region that connects Taif city with the other regions on the west and north. You will continue your drive up to Al Shafa mountain, also known as Jabal Dakkā, which is the highest mountain in the area of the town. You can hike up there and enjoy the view. If you prefer, you can also pay extra on-site to get on a cable car instead.
