What to expect

A must-do activity in Lapland is a snowmobile safari. This safari is created for beginners that want to try out snowmobiling in an easy and relaxed way.

Meet your guide and gear up with warm winter clothing, a protective helmet and gloves. Listen carefully to your guide who will give a short safety briefing. Then, hop on your snowmobile and drive off into the arctic forest. Your guide will carefully lead you over the snowy trails through a magical winter forest.

Halfway through, you will stop for a little break. Your guide will prepare a campfire and prepare some warm drinks with salty snacks. Finally, you will arrive back at the meeting point after an exciting winter adventure!

Meeting point:

Pickup service is possible from locations within a 10km radius around Levi, please insert the pickup and dropoff location of your choice in the dedicated field at checkout. In case you do not use the pickup service, meet directly at the Safartica office (located at Hiihtäjänkuja 10, 99130 Sirkka, Finland). Make sure to arrive 20-minutes before departure time at the Safartica office.

What to remember

A minimum of 2 tickets is required per ticket category
Children of 0 to 14 years old will be seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. It is recommended that one of the parents sits with a small child in the sledge
If you want to purchase a ticket for children, select an infant ticket for children up to 3 years, of child ticket for children aged 4 to 14 years at checkout
Children can join the snowmobile as a passenger, a minimum height of 140 cm is then required and you will have to select an adult ticket at checkout
In order to drive a snowmobile you must hold a valid driving license (B), please remember to take it with you
A snowmobile will be shared with another passenger
You are held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle. You can purchase self-liability insurance of €15 before the start of the tour.
Please make sure to arrive at the meeting point 20-minutes before the scheduled departure time
