The experience starts with an introduction to the history of Pastel de Nata while you sample famous traditional pastries from João's bakery, followed by the cooking class and tasting.

About your host, João: "My crib was on the ice-cream counter at my Dad's restaurant. At 7, I was brewing coffee. At 11, customers said my Sangria was legendary (my Dad would get angry that I'd try a sip before serving). At 13, I started baking Portuguese bread and pastries at my family's bakery."

Nous associerons ces pâtisseries crémeuses à Ginjinha, liqueur de cerise aigre typique des environs de Lisbonne. Ou, si vous préférez, avec une bonne tasse de café ou un rafraîchissement de votre choix.
