Madrid’s literary quarter is a beautiful, central neighborhood that’s filled with locals-only markets, pastry shops, delis and tapas bars. While wandering leafy streets, that have remained unchanged for centuries, you’ll taste a variety of foods and flavors that are a delicious expression of a true Madrid neighborhood.
You will be able to savour a rich breakfast of chocolate and fresh, homemade churros at an off-the-beaten-path chocolateria. Then, eat your way through a traditional neighborhood market, meet the vendors while tasting their delights, and taste the most delicious Spanish cheeses. The tour passes by the Anton Martin Market except on Sundays, when the market is closed. On sundays the tour visits the San Miguel Market.
