Discover the true North Wales on this authentic journey into nature. Get off the beaten path and explore the breathtakingly wild north coast by boat, summit the highest mountain in Wales and learn foraging skills in the peace and tranquility of ancient woodlands.

Explore the local culture and get back to nature and rediscover yourself in this beautiful, yet little-known corner of the world. Explore nearby Eglwyseg Mountain on a guided walk.

With its dramatic limestone escarpment and many species of rare bird. Get up close with river life by raft down the beautiful River Dee. You will be taken care of all the details on this fully-supported tour, so you can completely lose yourself in moments of discovery and experience.

Where

Pick-up you from Manchester airport at 12.00 pm or from Chester train station at 1.00 pm and you will be taken to your hotel in Llangollen.

Meeting point:

Arrive in Beaumaris ready to check in to your hotel from 15:00pm. During booking, you will be asked to provide your pick-up address. Please confirm the pick-up place, time, and your hotel address directly with the local operator whose contact information can be found in the voucher after booking.

What to remember

This trip will run with a minimum of 8 people but no more than 15, to make sure you enjoy that small group feel
This tour is suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness
Arrive in Beaumaris ready to check in to your hotel from 15:00pm

You need to bring:

Sturdy, waterproof walking boots and walking socks
Day backpack - to carry snacks and essentials when out walking
Waterproof clothing - even if the forecast looks good, the weather can be very changeable in the mountains
Warm layers - even in summer the mountains and the coast can be chilly, especially in the evening
Swimwear - if you want to enjoy the hot tub available at the hotel in Llangollen
Travel towel - for overnight glamping
Trainers you don’t mind getting wet when river rafting
