All the flavours and food of Mauritius take centre stage on this full-day tour. You'll learn how to cook a popular local dish with the chef at Domaine des Aubineaux, a splendid colonial house in Curipepe. Then afterwards, you'll visit the Glass Gallery to see craftsmen making new items out of recycled glass.
After pick-up, you'll make your way to Domaine des Aubineaux, where you'll spend a large portion of the day soaking up the sights and scents of Mauritian cooking. Breakfast will be served on arrival, then it's off to the local market with the chef in search of the ingredients for the dish you'll learn how to prepare.
Once you're back at the 19th century colonial house, you'll head into the kitchen for your cooking masterclass, and tuck into the dish for lunch. Your final stop will be the Glass Gallery, where skilled local craftsmen create imaginative glass products, all out of recycled glass.
