What to expect

Bindella winery, Vallocaia Estate, is situated in one of the oldest area of production of the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Docg, in the Argiano wine region.The Bindella property is divided into 40 hectares of vineyards, 13 hectares of olive groves, 36 hectares of farmland and totally expand for 130 ha. Today we produce 9 different wines made out of 10 different grape varieties, 2 sorts of grappas ad olive oil. At Vallocaia we cultivate the soil extensively an carefully, we don't ask for more than nature is willing to provide. We would be delighted to share our passion fro this land with you. You are welcome to stroll through our vineyards with us, to have a guided tour of the property with an introduction to Montepulciano and his wines.

The visit will be followed by a tasting in a cosy room that overlooking the landscape of Montepulciano and some of our vineyards:

Meeting point:

From Montepulciano Heading towards Chiusi, after Acquaviva you reach Tre Berte. At the very beginning of the village, immediately after the ICM service station, turn right into Via delle Tre Berte. After 2 km (1¼ miles), you will see us on the right. From the south A1 motorway, exit Chiusi-Chianciano Terme: On leaving the motorway, turn right towards Chiusi. About 2 km (1¼ miles), before Chiusi, turn left towards Acquaviva. Continue for about 12 km (7½ miles) until you come to Tre Berte. Just before the ICM service station, turn left into Via delle Tre Berte and continue for about 2 km (1¼ miles); we are on the right.From the north A1 motorway, exit Valdichiana/Bettolle: Follow the signs for Montepulciano until you reach Bivio di Nottola. Then turn left for Chiusi and continue through Acquaviva. 2 km past Acquaviva, you come to Tre Berte. At the very beginning of the village, immediately after the ICM service station, turn right into Via delle Tre Berte. Continue for 2 km (1¼ miles) and you will find us on the right.
