What to expect

Armory chamber is a unique, priceless and perhaps the most famous museum-treasury of Russia. In the halls of the museum the most ancient state regalia is collected - the Monomakh hat is stored here, as well as ceremonial royal clothing and royal thrones, among which are the unique double silver throne of Tsarevich Peter and Ivan Alekseevich, ceremonial armament and a unique collection of Easter eggs by Carl Faberge. Tour of the Armory is held with an audio guide.

Before visiting the Kremlin with the audio guide, you will have a walking tour of the Red Square and of Alexander Garden with a Russian speaking guide.

Meet your guide outside the Biblioteka imeni Lenina metro station. Near monument of Dostoevsky( Opposite Lenin's State Library). Your guide will be carrying a sign that says
"Liubimiy Gorod".

What to remember
  • Your guide will accompany you to the museum and assist with getting the audio guides. You will have to leave your passport or ID (any document with a photo) as collateral. After this, you will continue to explore the museum at your own pace
  • Visit to the Armoury chamber with an audio guide in Russian, Spanish, English, French, or German
  • You have to leave your passport as a deposit for the audio guide at the Armoury
  • Note the walking tour of the Alexandrovsky garden is performed by a Russian-speaking guide, No audio guide is available for this portion
  • You are not permitted to carry large bags, backpacks, weapons, firearms, gas cartridges, food, scooters, roller-skates, or bicycles on this tour
  • You are not permitted to take photographs or videos inside the museum
  • If you are late you will not be able to join the tour and will not be entitled to an alternative date or refund
