Musement ( began a quest today to transform the way arts and cultural 
attractions are discovered and accessed by travelers around the world, by launching the first 
online aggregator of information, pertinent suggestions and ticketing for top museums, art 
exhibitions, archaeological sites, operas and concerts around the world.
Musement’s first public demo and official launch will happen at Tech Crunch Disrupt NY 2013 in 
New York City tomorrow, Tuesday April 30th, as an all-day event in the Startup Alley.
“Global travelers interested in arts and culture have been only partially helped by the web so far,” 
– said Alessandro Petazzi, CEO and co-founder of Musement. – “Just think that many art venues 
around the world do not yet sell their tickets online, and even those who do offer them mostly only 
on their own website, which makes planning a trip a frustrating journey around multiple services, 
with the risks associated to missing wonderful yet least-known places or being caught by 
unofficial, unfair ticket resellers. Being born in Italy we are particularly aware of such matters and 
we have conceived Musement as the solution to all those issues”.
Developed for the international market by four Italian entrepreneurs with different backgrounds in 
technology, business and the arts – Claudio Bellinzona, Paolo Giulini, Alessandro Petazzi and 
Fabio Zecchini –, Musement is a digital “one-stop-destination” with direct access to all museums, 
sites and opera theatres providing users with detailed information on each venue and event, 
suggestions on places and art events they might like yet not know in the cities where they are 
planning to go, along with the possibility to purchase tickets for all such places with a single cart/
The service is being launched with a portfolio of 50+ venues in Italy and plans to end the year with 
over 100 in Italy, France, Spain, the UK, the US and possibly even more countries, with new 
additions every week. 
Future plans encompass the launch of a mobile app to help customers visit the places they have

different criteria (such as location, date and event category) and enjoy real-time dynamic results 
or be inspired by the suggestions of the editorial team. 
On the pages dedicated to each venue and event, basic yet crucial information such as opening 
hours/time of event, address and map are complemented by tips, “things to know”, professional 
reviews and extra historical/cultural content including photo galleries, videos, PDF documents 
and other relevant media.
When a purchase is made, the system generates a code uniquely associated to the customer ID 
and the print-out of the confirmation page or e-mail is all that is needed to go straight to the 
dedicated entrance desks at the venues, skipping payment lines.

TechCrunch Disrupt NY 2013 ( is TechCrunch’s
