Get picked up from your hotel at 8.15am and head to the Solfatara of Pozzuoli, a perfect example representative of the volcanic area of the Campi Flegrei. This crater offers a unique spectacle of smoke columns and boiling mud, with a strong smell of sulfur. We'll continue on to the Flavio amphitheater, the most important legacy in Pozzuoli of the Roman Empire. The attraction of the arena is undoubtedly represented by the extraordinary layout of the underground tunnel network. Following a short stop at the temple of Serapis in the center of Pozzuoli, we'll pass through the Felice Arch, the majestic ancient entrance to the old city, and reach the excavations of Cumae to visit Sibyl's cave and its temples. Enjoy a short stop at the lookout point of Lake Averno. You will return to your hotel at approximately 1.15pm.
