Orlando's Little Vietnam is the largest predominantly-asian community in the state of Florida. On this 3-hour walking tour, we will take a look at the history, culture, art, and food of this area.
Sitting along Highway 50, one of the busiest roads in Orlando lies Little Vietnam. Most people just zoom past it, but this tour is designed for people who like to step off the beaten path. This local community has been around for over 40 years, and during that time has seen a lot of changes, yet remains the largest Asian community in Florida. This eclectic neighborhood is also part of the Orlando Main Streets Program, known as the Mills50 District, which is just one of 10 Orlando Main Streets. Your guide is a local who knows the ins and outs of each street of this neighborhood and will introduce you to the flavors, stories, and images that lie around every corner. You will explore Asian markets, visit local shops, and see public art murals. Don't forget, you'll eat a lot of food along the way! Come hungry, because this tour is food heavy!
