Day 1: Panama City, Casco Antiguo, Panama Canal and duty-free shopping
Enjoy a drive through the modern city of Panama and then explore Casco Antiguo (the old town) and its rich history. Next, you'll visit the Panama Canal, the observation deck to see the operation of the canal, the Administration building, the Causeway and its impressive view of the city, the unique Frank Gehry Art and the Bio Museum.
Lastly, you'll visit Avenida Balboa, where you can do shopping at the Duty-free shops of Calzada de Amador (Causeway Islands).
Day 2: Portobelo, Panama Canal Railway and Agua Clara Locks
Discover Portobelo, a unique piece of the history of Panama. You'll have the chance to visit the Church to see the Black Christ, its historic forts and museums. Later on, you'll head to Colon City, where you'll visit the New Locks of the Panama Canal where you can see mega vessels transiting.
To conclude the journey, you'll enjoy a ride on a 150-year-old train on the Panama Railway. The train takes you from Colon to Panama City and provides an outstanding experience of the Canal landscapes and the Gatun lake from the moving train.
Day 3: Anton Valley, El Chorro Macho, El Nispero Zoo and Botanical Garden
A day to reconnect with nature and relax. You'll take the bridge of the Americas in direction of the west side of Panama to the Anton Valley, a unique small town located in the crater of a dormant volcano between elevated mountains. Here, you'll visit the zoo where you can take pictures of the monkeys and other animals in their natural habitat. You’ll walk through the lush jungle to reach and admire El Macho waterfall and finally spend some time relaxing in the hot springs.
