The bustle of Bangkok might seem like a distant thought from peaceful Pattaya – but this full day tour takes you right into the heart of the action in Thailand's capital. You'll visit the Grand Palace and see the Emerald Buddha, and explore Wat Pho. And there's more – there's a Chao Phraya River cruise, a sweep through Chinatown and a buffet lunch.
You'll kick off this tour at Bangkok's most famous sights. First up is the impressive Grand Palace, which houses a complex of ornate buildings in the heart of the city. You'll gaze up at the gold stupas of Wat Phra Kaew, the temple housing the Emerald Buddha temple.
Then it's over to the Golden Buddha at Wat Traimit – made of no less than five tons of solid gold, about the weight of an elephant – and the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. Afterwards, we'll dip into the frenzy of Chinatown before it's aboard the boat to glide your way down Chao Phraya River and the canals. Rounding off the day is a typical Thai lunch.
