Enjoy a tour in one of the oldest organic wineries of Umbria, learning all the differences between organic and conventional wines, from the vineyards to the bottle.
You will start with a tour of the winery, discovering how a farmer work the grapes in order to obtain an high quality product.
The Tili family, indeed, is one of the few wineries who have the full chain of production, from the vineyards to the bottle, in order to avoid the use of chemicals and preserve the absolute naturalness of their wines.
After the visit, you will enjoy a guided tasting of 5 different Assisi DOC and Umbria IGT organic wines paired with typical and local food as Bruschette with organic extra virgin olive oil, cold cuts, cheeses and homemade biscuits with the sweet wine.
At the end of the tour you'll be certified as "Apprentice Winemaker"!
Wine & Cheeses - 2 hours
Enjoy a wine tasting in a peaceful organic family winery!
Your experience starts in the vineyards and winery of one of the oldest organic farms of Umbria. You will learn how to create an organic wine, starting from the method of cultivation, passing from pressing, fermentation and aging, till a bottle ready to be tasted! After the informative tour, you will have a guided tasting of 5 different Assisi DOC and Umbria IGT wines paired with warm Bruschette with organic extra virgin olive oil and typical and particular cheeses with homemade jams, honey and balsamic vinegar, to finish then with homemade biscuits with the dessert wine.
Ciambella! - cooking class in Assisi - 5 hours
Discover traditional recipes of the typical Umbrian version of donuts: Ciambella!
You will enjoy a cooking class in one of the oldest organic family wineries in Assisi and you will learn three different recipes, both sweet and salted, of the Umbrian cuisine.
While cooking, you will have also the chance to taste some of the organic wines, paired with warm Bruschette with the organic extra virgin olive oil of the family production.
In the meantime, you will be fascinated by anecdotes about the centuries-old traditions and history of the Tili family.
At the end of the cooking class you will be delighted by a lunch tasting of four different courses (starter, first dish, second dish, dessert) with the food you prepared and some other local products. Everything will be paired with 6 Assisi DOC and Umbria IGT organic wines.
