The experience takes place in the Convent of Santa Vittoria in Fratte Rosa and includes a guided tour of the local demo-anthropological museum dedicated to pottery.
Fratte Rosa is renowned for the production of "cocci", terracotta objects with a peculiar eggplant or honey color. The class will be held by one or two artisans from the historic workshops that still keep this ancient tradition alive.
After a historical introduction to the different techniques, you will try your hand at pottery wheel work, clay modeling and majolica decoration and create a personalized, unique object that you can take with you at the end of the experience.
