The Uccellaia is an organic winery located in Val Nure, one of the four valleys of the Piacenza hills. It is composed of fifteen hectares of land, eight of which are cultivated with vineyards and seven of which are made up of small clearings, paths and with chestnut, oak and locust forest that hide and protect it. Today the Uccellaia is run by Chicca and her daughter Giulia.
Come and discover the vineyards, wine cellar and the barrel room together with one of the family members and taste the typical ‘merenda piacentina’ (a snack from the Piacenza area), combined with two excellent wines.
Choose two wines from:
Inventato dell’Uccellaia IGT 2011: A wine made from carefully selected Merlot and Barbera grapes.
Bauscia dell’Uccellaia IGT 2011: A wine made using the natural method of vinification. It has been slightly barricaded which preserves the aromas and flavors of the land and woods of the Uccellaia.
Gutturnium dell’Uccellaia DOC 2011: A still wine made from Barbera and Bonarda grapes.
Araballo dell'Uccellaia 2017: A wine with a fresh taste and delicate, long-lasting aroma.
