What to expect
Spend the night with the indigenous community of the Yorkin River! Visitors will participate in an immersive 2-day, 1-night tour.Day 1:The tour will start with a one hour visit to the Yorkin River. Then, guests will make their way to the visitor center and a snack will be provided. Following this break, you will have the unique opportunity to tour the community suspension bridge used for swimming. Visitors will then embark back to the center for a lunch consisting of chicken, beans, rice, bananas, and chopped vegetables. After lunch, there will be a tour of a cocoa farm where visitors will have the opportunity to prepare their own chocolate. Following the visit to the cocoa farm, visitors will watch a presentation that highlights the organization's purpose and the culture of the indigenous people. Day 2:The second day will begin with breakfast. Visitors will have the option to spend the day either touring the woods, waterfalls, or community. Lunch will be provided and guests will have the opportunity to purchase crafts and artisanal chocolate.
