The magic of Mozart is simply everywhere you go in Salzburg. Follow the traces of Mozart from the Mozart square to Salzburg Cathedral, from his Birthplace to the beautiful Mirabell Garden.
The tour begins at the Mozart square at the famous Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart statue. Walk to the impressive Residence Square and visit nearby Salzburg Cathedral, where Mozart was baptized and started his early career. At the Salzburg Festival Hall you will learn more about the three reliefs dedicated to Mozart’s most famous operas. In the famous street "Getreidegasse" you cannot only go shopping but also find the birthplace of Mozart. Walk up to the third floor and visit the rooms of the family Mozart. See many original objects, such as the violin Mozart played on when he was a child.
The tour will finish at the most colorful place in town: Mirabell Garden. Admire the flower arrangements, the four-element fountain, the dwarf garden and Castle Mirabell. It is here where Mozart performed and wrote parts of his Magic Flute Opera. Take your time and enjoy the garden as long as you like.
