Satisfy both your stomach and sense of adventure with this action-packed off-road tour. Search for a herd of wild horses in the rugged region of Livno, dine on top-quality organic products for lunch, and visit at an award-winning eco-dairy to sample a selection of Croatian cheeses.
Rumbling all the way to the Bosnian border, we'll begin in Livno, an ancient town on the banks of the Bistrica River. Visit the source of the river at the Duman spring, and see the scenic landscape stretch out before you from the Ottoman-era stone bridge.
Kick things up a gear by speeding along the slopes of Cincar Mountain, and we'll meet a herd of wild horses that have lived here for over half a century. Snap a few photos of the stallions and stunning views over the valley, and then pause for a picnic lunch of organic hams, meats and homemade bread washed down with local brandy. Finally, we'll visit an award-winning dairy to take a tour and taste Croatian cheese.
