Akoya Pearls from Broken Bay are world-famous for their very high lustre and unique colors and this is an extremely rare chance to get hands-on with a portion of the harvest of pearls from both WA and NSW. Meet the people behind the pearls as they share their expertise with passion as you delve into this unique and Australian industry. After an introduction and explanation on how the pearl farm operates, you'll board their vessel for a tour around the area where you will see the pearl farms 'salt water paddocks' and hear all the intricacies of growing a pearl. Back on land, join in an immersive pearl grading session inside our restricted-access Pearl Grading Room.
