After an early start, the first visit is to the viewpoints so you can admire a panoramic view of the impressive Sumidero Canyon. Then, you'll visit the dock for a boat ride through the canyon, which by the way is a geological marvel of more than 12 million years old with a height of up to 1200 meters.
Once the 2-hour tour is over, the tour continues to Chiapa de Corzo. This city is one of the oldest on the American continent and in its surroundings, you can appreciate the mixture of the two worlds. Finally, you will return to Tuxtla Gutierrez.
The second-day tour also starts early and you'll have time to purchase breakfast at a local restaurant on the way. With your energy recovered, you will continue the tour until you reach the Agua Azul Waterfalls.
The next site to visit is the Misol Há waterfall which literally means "waterfall" and there you will have time to explore.
Before returning to the hotel, you will visit one of the most powerful Mayan cities and a World Heritage Site since 1987- Palenque.
