In this food tour, you will visit the Central Market in Valencia and prepare a mouth watering Paella Valenciana all on the same day! This cooking class has been collaborated with chef David Montero, Ricepaella, and the Cooking School Innóvateya to give you a unique and memorable experience during your visit to Valencia.
The market opened it's doors in 1928 and now has over 300 merchants who sell local fruits, vegetables and seasonal products. It is one of the largest marketplaces in Europe and is known worldwide for its magical ambiance of design and architecture. You will be led through the entire market and introduced to vendors so you can get to know them first-hand. Each vendor you stop at will have the perfect selection of seasonal products needed to cook authentic Paella Valenciana.
During this experience, you will be guided by professional Spanish chefs, perfect for a novice or an expert. The class will be adapted as well as the menu, that will change according to local and seasonal products. It will feature a full menu including an appetizer, salad, and classic paella.
