Villa Valmarana ai Nani is a beautiful 18th century estate on the outskirts of Vicenza. It consists of three buildings: the Palazzina (owner’s residence) and the Foresteria (guesthouse), both characterized by many frescoes painted by Giambattista and Giandomenico Tiepolo, as well as the Scuderia (stables).
The buildings are surrounded by a large period park and boasts beautiful Italian gardens.
The Villa gets its name from the 17 stone dwarfs that are arranged on the walls that surround the property.
The Villa is still inhabited by the Valamarana family, considered the expressive summit of 18th-century painting and the highest testimony of the genius of the Tiepolo family.
