What to expect

Washington, D.C. is the center of American politics, and this tour will let you in on all the political action! Discover the city's history, gain a better understanding of the American government and hear some incredible stories about U.S. politics as you stand right in front of the building that started it all. Discuss the development of the city as you gaze upon the Capitol, Supreme Court and Library of Congress.

Afterwards, enjoy a stroll along one of the most historic streets in the city, where local guides will act as educators and facilitators as you engage in a healthy debate with fellow guests. You'll pass some of the most historic locations of Capitol Hill, including the Eastern Market, Old Navy Hospital, and Marine Core Barracks. Explore the oldest commercial district in the city, Barrack’s Row, and your guide will indicate some of the best spots to eat and drink. Conclude the tour at a bar where, after some political debate, you'll cheer to Capitol Hill and the new friendships you've made!
