What to expect

Discover the secrets of World War II in Lower Silesia during this guided tour. You will head towards Krzyzowa which used to be the establishment of the Kreisau Circle, one of the most famous resistance movements against the Third Reich. Visit the beautiful estate that was once owned by Helmuth James von Moltke. You will visit an interesting exhibition about the history of the relation between Poland and Germany in the 20th century that is on display in the estate.

Your tour continues to the Osówka Complex. This complex is also known under the name 'The Underground city' and was part of a great project conducted by Nazi Germany under the code name Riese. The mysterious complex still has many secrets to be discovered.

After exploring the mysterious former headquarters of the Osówka Complex you will visit Ksiaz Castle. Admire the biggest Castle in Poland, situated majestically on a cliff next to the Pelcznica river. In 1943 the paramilitary organization of Hitler Tod built its main headquarters next to the castle.

The last stop of the day will be Gross-Rosen in Rogoźnica. This was the largest Nazi-German concentration camp of Lower Silesia. Around forty thousand prisoners (Poles, Jews, Russians, French and Hungarians) died in the camp during the war.
