Your local guide will take you on a journey to travel back in time to the beginnings of the city of Wroclaw. You will have a chance to see the most important places and monuments of the city. The tour is organized at nightfall, to admire beautiful scenery at Ostrow Tumski and to see a lamplighter, who still lights lamps there.
Be aware that Wroclaw is the city of dwarfs and you will meet them everywhere.
The picturesque views of the illuminated Cathedral Island and the Old City will leave deep impressions. This is a spiritual place with silent streets, unique 19th century gas lamps and monuments from the Middle Ages. Here you will find the remains of the first castle of the Duke of Piast's dynasty, The Holy Cross Church and The Dumplings Gate.
You will discover St. John the Baptist's Cathedral, an example of Gothic art at the center of the religious life of Wroclaw's citizens.
During the tour you will also see Market Hall, the Ossolinski National Institute and its small discreet garden.
You will experience one of the biggest city markets in Europe. It is the beating heart of the city, with dozens of restaurants, pubs and coffee gardens.
Lastly you will reach the town hall, a building in Gothic style which contains the Museum of Bourgeois Art.
