A 62 years after the last major exhibition that amazed Milan, back to Milan the works of Van Gogh, one of the most famous artists in the world, with a new exhibition entitled "The Man and the Earth", which focuses on the work of the Dutch master dedicated to the rural landscape and the rural world.
With this unique guided visit you will better understand the focus of the exhibition, which presents a reading of the work of Van Gogh entirely new: in an era in which artists focused exclusively on urbans agglomerations, Van Gogh drew attention to the countryside and the people who worked in the fields.
The corpus of the exhibition consists of works from the Kröller Müller Museum in Otterlo in addition to works from other museums, including the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, and from private collections normally inaccessible. Our guide will lead you through an artistic journey that unfolds in more than 50 works: a unique opportunity to explore, through the eyes of the artist, the complex relationship between the human being and the nature that surrounds him.
