An eclectic mix of flamingos, butterflies and handicrafts make this a fascinating tour. First up will be Cabo de Gata, the largest protected coastal area in Spain. It's here where beautiful beaches are dotted between eye-catching rock formations. And you'll be heading to the salt lakes to see the flamingos that flock here as well as the viewpoint at Arrecife de la Sirena.
Then, you'll have a guided tour around the butterfly farm in Nijar followed by some free time in the town itself. It's famed for handicrafts, including pottery, textiles and rugs, so you'll find be able to bag a souvenir or two before enjoying a drink on one of the terraces or popping your head inside the small church.
