With entertaining guides to show you around, you'll meet the locals and find out about their way of life – you'll even get to pass by a rural school. Watch typical products being made – from hand-rolled cherry cigars to rum, coconut oil and chocolate, which are for sale at prices that the locals pay.
After a lunch of typical Dominican fare – drinks included – you'll stop by a coconut farm to learn all there is to know about the so-called miracle nut and enjoy a delicious brew made from all-natural herbs. You'll also visit the Anamuya River. Take a refreshing swim or hop on one of the tubes and float downstream, cocktail in hand. This is the real deal – a rollicking, made-for-selfies outing in the outback.
