A chance to experience another continent in just one day. This trip across the narrow stretch of Mediterranean to North Africa takes you on a guided visit to the intriguing Moroccan city of Tetuan.
Sailing from Algeciras, you'll arrive at the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. After crossing the border, see beautiful coastal scenery before heading inland to Tetuan, nestled beneath the Rif Mountains. A guided walking tour takes you through the International Quarter with its Spanish-influenced architecture, passing Mohammed V Square with its impressive Royal Palace.
Then it's time to explore the Old Town and its walled Medina. Its souk's winding alleyways are teeming with colourful Berber markets, local bakeries, cubby-hole shops and tailors selling the distinctive local dress known as djellabas. There's also lunch at a local restaurant, accompanied by live traditional music – and the opportunity to pick up a few souvenirs at a herbalist pharmacy.
