This action-packed 4x4 experience has adventure stamped all over it. Hop in a powerful off-road vehicle and zoom down dusty tracks and trails to discover ever-changing Albanian landscapes and a few surprises, too. Rumbling all the way to Cape Rodon, you'll drop by St Anthony's Church, Kokomani winery and explore an abandoned Cold War bunker. It all kicks off speeding towards Cape Rodon, where you'll admire wow-factor panoramas over the Adriatic. Then, stop by the ancient St Anthony's to see one of Albania's most treasured religious monuments. Melisa adds, ‘Cape Rodon is known just as much for its natural appeal as its cultural monuments. There are plenty of coves and beaches around the cape, and the sea is a tempting shade of blue. So make sure you pack your swimmers.'
Fearing invasion during the Cold War, the country's then dictator, Enver Hoxa, ordered the construction of thousands of military bunkers along the coast. While the regime has long since collapsed, many of these squat steel structures remain – and you'll get to explore one. Afterwards, it's back in the vehicles and on to a local vineyard for a well-earned glass of Albanian wine.
