You'll spend the morning wandering and haggling your way around the market before heading to a nearby winery for lunch and a tasting of local wine.Arriving into Nabeul's Friday market, you'll see an array of colourful things – from local pottery, to embroidery, mats, perfume and all the fruits and vegetables that have been piled high. Watch locals go about their daily shop, and go off in search of your own souvenirs to take home.After some free time in the market maze, you'll travel into the wine-growing region, set among scented orange, lemon and olive groves. Next, we'll explore the 16th-century Byzantine citadel of Kelibia Fort, which offers sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea. Our next stop is Kerkouane, one of the best-preserved cities of the ancient Phoenicians. Admire the intricate stonework and layout and learn about its role in the region.After exploring Kerkouane, we'll take a break to enjoy a freshly prepared Tunisian lunch. You'll have the opportunity to taste a variety of traditional dishes and sample Tunisian wine at a wine tasting.
