Pinares de Mayari, an eye-popping, pretty ecological landscape with a lush microclimate will be your first destination of the day. You'll be behind the wheel of a 4x4, rumbling down country tracks and off-roading to find one of the highest waterfalls in Cuba - the showstopper of La Mensura National Park.
Once you arrive at Guayabo Falls, you'll encounter cascades of fresh water dropping 546m as well as towering pine trees, Cuba's national bird, the Cuban trogon, and dozens of orchids. Afterwards, you'll make your way to a typical Cuban farm and later Fidel Castro's childhood home and birthplace in Biran.
