Albania is just a short hop away but a visit is like travelling back in time. We'll drive along the Adriatic coastline on a scenic route across the border where we'll make our way to the Venetian-era Rozafa Fortress. This ruined castle overlooks the city and Lake Skadar below, giving grandstand views of the surrounding landscape.
Shkoder is one of the oldest cities in Europe and you'll embark on a guided tour of the heart of the town and grab some lunch after some free time. There are plenty of shops as well as an impressive cathedral and a grand mosque too.
