If the Amalfi Coast is the business, then Capri is showbusiness. This magnet for celebs since the days of Roman emperors is a must-visit. Take the ferry over then head by minibus to Anacapri in the west of the island, for some free time before making the trip to Capri town for a walking tour.
Nowadays, it's the likes of Naomi Campbell, George Clooney and Beyoncé who take their holidays in this ruggedly beautiful island. Zigzag up to Anacapri and wander along cobbled alleys of whitewashed houses. The views over the Amalfi Coast are jaw-dropping.
In the afternoon, you'll head back down to Capri, for a walking tour among the jet-setters in the bars, cafés and label-laden boutiques. Among the star turns are the Gardens of Augustus, which overlook the famous Faraglioni rocks. Well worth checking out are the town's half-dozen dinky baroque churches.
