Your journey into the underwater world starts with a comprehensive theory class, covering essential diving techniques and how to conduct yourself during the dive. You'll also be introduced to the signals used for underwater communication, providing you with an insight into the aquatic environment and landscape.
Once the theory session is wrapped up, it's time to gear up and make your way to the lake. With water reaching waist height, you're encouraged to breathe through a regulator while kneeling in the water. Following this, you're asked to lie flat and practise diving at the bottom, allowing you to get accustomed to the sensation.
When you feel ready and at ease, the actual dive commences. Initially, an instructor will accompany you for reassurance, but eventually, you'll have the freedom to explore independently. You'll be shown the typical plant and animal life of the lake, have photos taken of your experience, and finally, return to the surface.
