You’ll get a speedy introduction to Breisach on this tour. This place was flattened by bombings during the Second World War, but you’d never know. It’s been painstakingly rebuilt to its former glory, with pastel houses, cobbled lanes and a grand cathedral. And that’s exactly where you’re heading today.
