Nur das Beste
Momente, die eine Reise unvergesslich machen. Ein Halt. Eine weitere verborgene Ecke. Nur das Beste.
This is an authentic Calabrian winery tour with a difference. Run by larger-than-life Calabrian Cosmo Rombolà, the Cantina Masicei vineyards boast an unbeatable location on slopes overlooking the Tropean coastline. You'll learn about the wine growing and making processes from the experts before rounding off the visit with a tasting session of Cosmo's organic wines paired with local delicacies. Olivia, one of our local guides, says, “Calabria has always been a land of strong characters - the wine here reflects that. Nothing is shy, nothing is rushed.”
The winery is testament to one family's dedication to reviving and honouring the agricultural heritage of the Brattiroese territory and beyond. It's more than just wine-making - it's a commitment to the land, a return to roots, and a celebration of the territory's generous spirit. “From these slopes, you can taste the sea and the mountains in the same glass. That's very Calabrian,” Olivia adds.
Here you'll enjoy a tasting of four wines, each telling its own story of the terroir and the dedication of the Rombolà family. This experience is an intimate glimpse into a tradition that melds respect for nature with the art of winemaking, offering organically produced wines that echo the family's philosophy of harmony with the land.
